Registration Info Fall 2010

 Fall 2010 Dyer Kickers Soccer Registration  

Registration is closed (some exceptions for travel Rec-plus if availability on teams).

We suggest to use the Mail-in forms which can be used for returning rec-plus travel players. New travel players must register with 2 small photos and a copy of birth certificate.

 In-House Registration for: U6 - U18

Who: Any Boy or Girl between the ages of 4 and 17 as of July 31, 2010 (4 year olds must be age 4 by 3/31/2011 for next Spring)

Fee: $75 Per Player – This includes a team jersey (we are re-using fall jerseys for spring - A replacement fee may apply.) and trophy (trophy for U6 and U8 divisions).

  • New and returning In-House players and returning Travel players may use the printable Mail-in Walk-in Registration form (will be found on our website downloads page.
  • All NEW In-House players must provide a copy of their birth certificate.

* ABSOLUTLY NO LATE REGISTRATIONS *

 Travel (Rec-Plus) Registration for: U8 ~ U10 ~ U12 ~ U14 

Who: Any Boy or Girl between the ages of 6 and 13 as of July 31, 2010.

Fee: $110 Per Player – This includes a team uniform (we are re-using fall jerseys for spring). A replacement fee may apply.  

  •  Player placement in the fall season is based on the number of openings needed per team. In spring rec-plus travel teams usually stay together and placement opportubities might be available. Contact our club for availability.
  • All New and returning rec-plus travel players must bring two small photos for ID cards and a copy of their birth certificate.

* ABSOLUTLY NO LATE REGISTRATIONS *

For our club to continue to grow and succeed, we need your assistance.

Coaches and Assistant Coaches are always needed. We are occasionally looking for travel (rec plus) coaches. 

No coaching experience is necessary. We train our coaches with pro trainers at our free clinics and train coaches and players throughout the year.

Age Group Information for Registration
Age Group Information (U6, U8, etc.)

Calculating birthdates to age groups can be very confusing. Dyer Kickers created custom software and uses it to eliminate errors.
The age to group info below can help you as a gudeline.

Determining your "Soccer Age"

Soccer ages are determined once per year and hold for the whole year. The soccer year corresponds to the academic year, so your "soccer age" is the same for Fall and the following Spring (i.e., not the calendar year). Your soccer age is your age on July 31st immediately before the Fall season. Thus your "soccer age" for the Fall 10 and Spring 11 seasons is the age you are/were on July 31, 2010.

This is an example for InHouse age/groups...

Age on 7/31/10 ....Plays Fall 2010.... and Spring 11 (Note we allow in the Spring age 4 by March 31, 2011 to play)

 Age 4 or 5  Plays Fall 10 in U6  and Spring 11 in U6
 Age 6 or 7  Plays Fall 10 in U8  and Spring 11 in U8
 Age 8 or 9  Plays Fall 10 in U10  and Spring 11 in U10
 Ages 10, 11, 12, and 13  Plays Fall 10 in Advanced  and Spring 11 in Advanced
 Age 14, 15, 16,  and 17  Plays Fall 10 in U18  and Spring 11 in U18 Seniors 

What's Does "U6" or "U8" (etc.) mean?

"U8" is short for "My soccer age is Under 8 years old".

U8 players cannot be 8 years old (or older) on July 31 previous to the Fall season, as explained above. The system is analogous for U6, U10, etc. In general, U6 players will have "soccer ages" of 4 or 5, U8 players will have soccer ages of 6 or 7, and U10 players will have soccer ages of 8 or 9.
